Biden: "I Didn't Know There Were That Many Socialist Republicans"
New MAGA Theory: Deep State Whipped Up Hurricane Ian To Punish DeSantis
Joe Biden was surprised. “I didn’t know there were that many socialist Republicans.”
Dozens of far-right Republicans, after criticizing Biden’s billion-dollar infrastructure plan as “socialism”, have written letters to Biden begging for money from the bill they vehemently opposed. Here are two examples, from CNN (my emphasis):
MAGA Congressman Paul Gosar (R-AZ) labeled the bill “phony” and said it “only serves to advance the America Last’s socialist agenda” while voting against it, only to later write three separate letters this year advocating for funding to projects in his district.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), a fierce Biden critic who derided the bill’s “wasteful spending,” has since written 10 letters appealing for money to be allocated for Kentucky projects that would “promote continued economic development, ease congestion, improve air quality, and support job growth throughout the region.”
Yesterday, Paul tweeted: “In times of disaster, taxpayer money should be spent to help Americans, like the flood victims in Eastern Kentucky. . . . I'll continue to stand with and support our Commonwealth.” After he was repeatedly reminded of his vote last week against flood victims, Paul deleted the tweet.

The political director of Herschel Walker’s Georgia senatorial campaign was fired this week, only one month before the midterm elections. CNN reported that Taylor Crowe was fired “after suspected leaking to members of the media”.
Roger Sollenberger of The Daily Beast, who reported that Walker had paid for a girlfriend’s abortion, discussed the story on The New Abnormal podcast. (In mid-June, Sollebger broke two stories about three secret children that Walker never mentioned publicly; he kept their existence a secret from his campaign, as well.)
The hits just keep coming for Walker:
A woman who has said Herschel Walker, the Republican Senate nominee in Georgia, paid for her abortion in 2009 told The New York Times that he urged her to terminate a second pregnancy two years later. They ended their relationship after she refused.
In a series of interviews, the woman said Mr. Walker had barely been involved in their now 10-year-old son’s life, offering little more than court-ordered child support and occasional gifts. . . . [Walker] has publicly denied that he knew her. He called her “some alleged woman” in a radio interview on Thursday.
Sollenberger said the Times’ reporting “matches my report”.
Also: CNN’s Fact-Checker Daniel Dale: “Herschel Walker has been running a TV ad in which he looks into the camera and falsely claims that Raphael Warnock cut funding to the police. This assertion is so imaginary that Walker’s campaign hasn’t even responded to requests to identify what he’s talking about.”

What if:

The pace of the DOJ’s investigation makes a random slug in my backyard look like Usain Bolt (I find it extremely hard to believe that additional warrants were not procured to search other Trump properties, but it’s a mystery at this point. Since Trump broke the news of the MaL search, wouldn’t he whine X times harder if Trump Tower or Bedminster Total Golf-and-Cemetery were also searched?):

Here’s some crazy shit (“What we have here in this incrediby detailed 165 page cache of emails, contracts, invoices, is the entire backstory from Jan through Sept 2021 of how GSA assisted the outgoing Trump transition team with SHIPPING pallets of boxes to MAL and a storage facility.”):

Speaking of crazy shit, DeAnna Lorraine and Lauren Witzke, two MAGA cult members and former congressional candidates, claim the “Deep State” used “weather manipulation technology” to create Hurricane Ian to punish Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Lorraine said the federal government knows “how to manipulate and create big storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, climate change” and mused that “huge hurricanes seem to target red states” near elections. Witzke said she was not “putting it past the elites to target something like this toward Florida as punishment for getting rid of vaccine mandates or getting rid of child grooming”.
