By continuing to hurl insults and told his advisors that it's time to "fuck up" the prosecutors, Trump is daring the judge to impose a gag order on him this Tuesday.
It takes a special talent to misspell a three-letter word.
Or a certain level of dementia.
He also thanked himself for re-posting a blank post from himself.
And it takes a whole lot of stupidity to think you can avoid a judge imposing a gag order if you simply announce that you’re giving an unhinged rant a speech a few hours after you have appeared before said judge and been charged with what has been reported as nearly three dozen financial crimes. Yet that’s what appears to be happening. Dolt45 says he’ll be speaking to supporters outside of his house on Tuesday evening. What’s he thinking? This judge can’t forbid me to speak publicly after I’ve already announced this speech and a crowd is expected.
At the same time, Trump has been publicly shitting all over the judge, insulting the judge’s wife, referring to the Manhattan DA as “HUMAN SCUM” and “an animal” doing the work of “the Devil”, and claiming that the fact that he’s not being treated as above all laws is prima facie evidence the U.S. is a “third-world country”.
Okay, Trump did not use the phrase prima facie. While I agree the U.S. is, in numerous respects, a third-world country, this is not one of the respects. Trump — who incited a deadly insurrection at the U.S. Captiol in early 2021 (perhaps you’ve heard of it) — has also issued a warning that things might get a little out of hand if Johnny Law does anything bad to him. (Which Johnny Law is totally going to do.) Now Trump is telling his advisers that it’s time to “fuck ‘em up” (i.e., the prosecutors he can’t stop whining about).
[At least two Fox hosts have also hinted at violence. Jesse Watters: “People better be careful, and that’s all I’ll say about that.” (Back on March 20, Waters whined: “They better not put my president in prison!”) Tucker Carlson: “[This is] probably not the best time to give up your AR-15s.”]
This is easily the least important of the numerous indictments expected to be filed against Trump. How bonkers will he be after Fani Willis (Georgia) or Jack Smith (Dept. of Justice) bring the serious shit?

Trump had already signaled that he would go after the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, weeks before the grand jury handed up an indictment against him on Thursday . . . accusing Bragg of being a psychopath. . . .

The episode at Mar-a-Lago came on the sidelines of strategy meetings Trump had with advisers and associates about how to respond to the indictment from a legal and political standpoint, sessions which were described by two sources close to the former president. . . .
Trump was initially caught off-guard by the indictment . . . The shock had dissipated by the weekend, when Trump’s tone changed and he told his team that he wanted to attack the case and fight the prosecutors. . . .
The ex-president’s pugnacious tone has only accelerated in recent days with a series of critical posts about New York state supreme court justice Juan Merchan, to whom the case has apparently been allotted after he presided over a separate matter involving the Trump Organization last year.
